1. Who We Are

Eagala is an international nonprofit professional association supporting and certifying professionals in the Eagala Model of equine-assisted psychotherapy and personal development.

Our website and member portal are operated in partnership with MemberClicksPro (Personify) and integrate with Authorize.net for secure payment processing, including recurring ACH memberships.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

  • Name and contact information
  • Professional credentials and employment information
  • Membership and certification data
  • Event and training participation records
  • Payment information

We also automatically collect certain technical data such as IP address, browser type, cookies, and usage data.

3. Payment Information and ACH Authorizations

Payments are processed securely through Authorize.net. Eagala does not store full credit card numbers or full bank account numbers on its servers.

If you enroll in recurring ACH (eCheck) membership payments, you authorize electronic funds transfers in accordance with applicable NACHA operating rules. Recurring authorizations may be revoked by contacting Eagala prior to the next billing cycle. ACH authorization records are retained as required by financial regulations.

4. Member Directory

Eagala maintains a Member Directory. Members may choose to display professional information internationally. Members may update or opt out of directory visibility at any time through their member profile.

5. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Process memberships and renewals
  • Administer certifications and CEUs
  • Process payments
  • Provide member services and communications
  • Improve website functionality
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell personal information.

6. Email Communications

Eagala uses a combination of MemberClicksPro and Mailchimp for email communications. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

7. International Users & GDPR

Eagala serves members globally. Personal information may be processed in the United States. For individuals located in the European Union or other jurisdictions with similar laws, processing is based on contractual necessity, legitimate interest, consent, or legal obligation. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data, subject to applicable law.
