Initial Certification is the first step to becoming an Eagala-certified professional. It includes completing the Eagala Fundamentals Training, meeting role requirements (MH/ES), and submitting your certification documents.

Renewal Certification is required every two years to maintain active Eagala status. Renewal includes:

• Completing 20 Continuing Education (CE) hours
• Ensuring 3 of those hours are ethics CEs
• Submitting your updated Professional Development Portfolio (PDP)
• Keeping membership information current

You can earn CE credit from recorded Eagala Education Hour (formerly Global Member Meetings):

• 1. Within 72 hours (free with CEU): Use the access code posted in Eagala News. Code format: DDMmmYYGMM.
• 2. After 72 hours: CE available through the Eagala Store with a $15 administrative fee.
• 3. Full schedule and links are available through Eagala Education Hour updates.

Many Eagala Education Hours (formerly Global Member Meetings) can be viewed for free without CE credit and are ideal for passive learning.

The CE Guide explains qualified CE activities, ethics requirements, Independent Study guidelines, and how to track/document hours.

Submit online through the PDP link. Your PDP must be updated every four years – this is how you show that you are qualified for your role on an Eagala team.

• Updated license or insurance (MH)
• Role change requests

Timeline: Submit by your renewal deadline; aim for 30 days in advance.

Search by region to locate Networking Coordinators, upcoming meetings, and contact information. You can join a networking meeting anywhere in the world when you are Eagala certified.
